Information The Vacuum Pinbone Remover MS 2616 is one of the most flexible pinbone removers on the market today. Available as a two-lane or four-lane machine, options include an extra set of heads designed for removing the most difficult bones in the neck part of the fish. The vacuum system removes bones and water very efficiently from the surface of the fillets, ensuring a high level of hygiene. Adjustment of the pinbone heads and speed is performed electrically by servo motors. The pinboner comes with a variety of different programmes for different fillets sizes and quality, which are easily selected on the touch screen. - Flexible and efficient - Removes neck bones - Removes bones and surplus water - Vacuum system with rotasieve separates waste from water - Capacity - 20 fillets/min (two-lane), 40 fillets/min (four-lane) - Easy to clean - Vacuum system can be delivered separately Specifications OperationWorking range: Salmon fillets between 0.5 kg - 3 kg Capacity:Up to 20 fillets/min. Typical context for this category of equipment. Always confirm specifics with the seller.

    • Processing lines for salmon and trout fillets.
    • Facilities requiring efficient removal of pinbones from various fish species.
    • Operations focused on producing high-quality, bone-free fish fillets for retail or further processing.
    • Seafood processing plants aiming to improve hygiene and reduce manual labour in pinboning.

    Typical throughput
For this class of equipment, throughput can typically range from 20 to 40 fillets per minute per lane, depending on fish size and programme.
    Lane configuration
Commonly available as a two-lane or four-lane machine, offering flexibility for different production volumes.
    Power supply
Units of this type typically require a 3-phase electrical supply, commonly 400V, 50Hz, with a power consumption in the range of 5-10 kW.
    Water consumption
Typically requires a continuous water supply for cleaning and operation, with consumption varying based on usage.
    Air consumption
Pneumatic systems are commonly used for certain functions, requiring a compressed air supply.
    Footprint
For a two-lane unit, the footprint is typically around 2-3 metres in length and 1-1.5 metres in width, excluding ancillary equipment.
    Material construction
Units are generally constructed from food-grade stainless steel for hygiene and durability.
    Control system
Typically features an integrated touchscreen interface for programme selection and parameter adjustment.

    • This model is primarily designed for processing salmon and trout, but with appropriate programme selection, it can be adapted for other fish species with similar bone structures.

Seafood filleting machines are valued for consistent blade performance and labour cost reduction in processing facilities. Buyers typically prioritize stainless steel construction for durability and food safety compliance. Key considerations when purchasing used units include blade condition, automation level, and sanitation standards. Industry sentiment favours machines with straightforward maintenance requirements and reliable cutting consistency. Reputable brands generally command confidence in the secondhand market due to established spare parts availability and technical support.
